I have more +-15 years’ experience in the Payroll & Time & Attendance fields, of which the last 8 years in a payroll management capacity. I have worked as an expatriate based in Maputo, Mozambique for G4S Secure Solutions Lda. Previously I had worked for G4S Secure Solutions South Africa where I started as a wage clerk to salaries administrator for senior management and executive payroll and finally as payroll supervisor. With G4S Secure Solutions South Africa my responsibilities encompassed that of payroll supervision within the Private Security Industry for approximately 15 000 staff members with a Gross payroll value of R1.5 billion per annum and spread across 10 different payroll structures, representing different industry regulatory bodies with very diverse and complex rules and requirements. With G4S Secure Solutions Mozambique I worked as the National Payroll & Labour Manager responsible for overseeing the payroll and the efficient management of the time and attendance system with greater focus on labour efficiency. During my tenure in Mozambique I successfully trained one of the locals to be the National Payroll Manager in my first-year assignment and in the second year trained another to handle the time and attendance and labour efficiency management. Currently I am working for Riskcon Security Holdings Pty Ltd were I started as a Payroll Manager and has been elevated to Payroll and Labour Manager responsible for managing both the payroll and EasyRoster (Time & Attendance) departments. I have excellent VIP premier skills in both ODBC and VIP maintenance i.e. methods and multiple company set ups. My excel skills is rated on advanced level, which includes pivot tables, formula writing, reports for more efficient Payroll analysis to senior management regarding strategic decisions relating to labour cost trends and savings initiatives. I have extensive knowledge and exposure as far as liaison with statutory bodies i.e. PAYE, SDL, UIF, PSIRA and WCA and Medical Aid companies in South Africa. All this coupled with time and attendance management with more focus on labour cost management. I have been actively involved from a business operational, system administration, system implementation and payroll management perspective in the Human Resource and Payroll environment since May 2009
