Hi I currently work as the Innovations and Technology Manager for Unilever, in Johannesburg across two Unilever Manufacturing sites. The first is a washing powder processing plant and the other a liquid detergents plant. The following well known products are made : Omo Handwash , Skip Auto Powder, Domestos , Sunlight Dish, Handy Andy , Comfort Fabric Softener and many others. The key deliverables include overseeing a team of 6 engineers whom I split to achieve the following objectives : - product development with R&D - design and execution of main plant trials - product innovation - product value improvement projects - innovations and renovations - end of line automation - packaging optimization - focused improvements - early equipment management -PVA, OEE plans , long term capacity planning -operational support and supplier resilience My CV goes to more detail on each of these.
