Amcast Pvt Ltd [ Employed as a Laboratory Technician /Assayer from January 2014 to December 2015. The major role I played at Amcast was to leach tanks, analyze pregnant carbon and pregnant solutions, schedule daily work in the laboratory and delegate duties. My achievements in this role of a Laboratory Technician were, engage different local stake holders to keep our environment safe from pollution and to protect domestic and wild animals from hazardous chemicals from metallurgical operations. Engage artisanal miners and educate them on rehabilitating the environment. Introduced a new leaching technique and the result was surpassing gold recoveries of all time, this improved the financial status of the company. I re-designed the laboratory set up to facilitate smooth flow of work from one station to the next, this improved efficiency and effectiveness. I introduced use of available resources to cut down on costs to bring viability in business. Aurex Holdings Pvt Ltd Employed as an Assayer Analyst from January 2016 to current. My immediate task upon joining Aurex, was to recommend proper disposal of chemical wastes in line with legislative laws. This has been a great success as this also prevents pollution of ground water and the environment. I introduced small scale refining technique of both gold and silver which are the major inputs of the organisation. I introduced re-use of resources in Assay as a cost cutting measure, this saves financial resources of the organization. Was instrumental in laboratory set up to prevent hazards and to promote good house-keeping standards. I improved on Assaying techniques by analyzing samples at each stage of manufacturing jewelry to ensure that deviation of standards is detected early.
