For the last 21 years, I have worked as a programmer and developed programs in Excel for finance reporting. During this time I volunteered for Rays of Hope as an English Tutor in Alexandra and at IR Griffiths Primary School through Help2Read, assisting students in improving basic literacy skills. In 2018 I completed a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Course at Wits University and went to Thailand to teach as an intern. In March 2019 I then completed at CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults), Cambridge University English, administered by Good Hope Studies in Cape Town.
