He also worked at a global Software OEM as an architect / SME to build an industry platform. He has had the privilege of leading large strategic business and IT transformation programs (new operating models, processes and technologies); Re-platforming the core business and decommissioning systems off the mainframe; driving new digital and self-service platforms along with multiple infrastructure replacements. He successfully filled various technical and management roles and managed a multitude of Information Technology teams from enterprise architecture through to application development / software delivery and data engineering across bespoke legacy mainframe technologies, core commercial of the shelf packages like SAP ERP, SAP Core Banking, Loyalty and Rewards, Product Systems e.g. Vehicle and Asset Finance, Home Loans, Fleet Management and Data Integration Technologies as well as CLOUD based HR solutions. He completed his MBA with a thesis in Digital Transformation and has the practical business experience to solve business problems for you. He is also a member of the Institute of Information Technology Professionals of South Africa (IITPSA) and also a member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa (IoDSA). These memberships along with his experience provides him with the credentials to be a Non Executive Director (NED) to serve on the board of companies.
