I am currently employed at Anderson Vogt as a Senior Technician, during my time with the firm, I have been involved in multiple projects from inception design to completion. I have worked on the investigation and reporting projects for Ethekwini Municipality, I have worked as the main engineer on the design, drawings and construction monitoring of multimillion projects for the Department of Public works with the approval of my supervisor. I have worked on the structure stability investigation, roof leaks defects, embankment failure, piling structure, foundations structure, beams structures, eaves and ring beams structures, columns structures, roof structures, raft slab structures, suspended slab structure, flat slab structure, surface bed structure, water reticulation, sewer reticulation, stormwater reticulation, roads design, solid waste landfill, pump station, geotechnical investigation and approval, platform design and water treatment plants. I manage internal stuff such as junior technicians and draftsmen on daily basis to reach targeted goals. I work on the company tenders, bill of quantities and invoices. Before my experience with Anderson Vogt Consulting, I have worked for Soral Projects, during my time at Soral Projects, I have worked as a Site Agent assistant on site. My duties were: assisting foreman, controlling general labourers, costing, representing the site agent, producing Gant charts, preparing site meetings. I was involved in multiple projects such as sewer pipe laying, sewer Manholes supply and installation, pump station silt cleaning, stormwater construction maintenance, general building construction, fencing construction.
