About Godfrey Goitsiona

After graduation, I have on countless occasions made applications into internships so as to build a solid foundation for my career path but failed to secure one. Stories of pity have never gotten a person anywhere but in times of need, one is required to pull all stops to gain entry into a solid programme. Entry into the programme will count hugely towards my journey to reach career success and becoming a valuable employee to any employing entity. I have never participated in an internship. I believe that my educational background and work experience as indicated on my CV would make me a suitable candidate for the programme. From being a Science student and obtaining a BCom Accounting degree really shows that I am a willful learner. Characteristics that define the person that I am would include being determined, courageous and being a willful learner. I believe in respecting the opportunity offered by the employer and aiming to be of value to the company by continuously doing my best to succeed in the vacancy provided by the employing company. I consider myself as an individual that is persistent with regards to career success and personal growth. Applications are made to establishments that will truly enhance my growth potential. I am keen on joining the employing entity as I hope it values in investing in its employees by offering training programmes such as this, job rotations, platforms that allow flexibility from employees and allowing them to take initiative in problem solving. I am a committed, smart working and reliable individual. I have good verbal and written skills in English, Setswana and IsiZulu which is advantageous when fellow colleagues, clients and third parties from different ethnic groups and literacy levels. Knowledge of different ethnic groups plays a major role in understanding the company’s employee layout to ensure I cause no disruptions in the workplace and create conflicts with fellow colleagues. Sounding smart is not always required but at times necessary to convince the evaluator of my application that I believe that I can do well if accepted into the internship programme. I really hope my letter shows honesty and portrays a good reflection of the person that I am. Even though it may have a semi-formal feel to it, it is intentionally done to get the attention of the evaluator of my application because big wording can sometimes not deliver to right message to the reader.
