I am a very strong willed individual, who thrives not only meeting but exceeding the objectives of management and the expectations of ones customers. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills, extremely organized, can work independently but can be a very effective team player as well. I am analytically minded and have developed a constant eye for continuous improvement opportunities which embodies both cost and process optimization. I have a very sound background in Lean manufacturing which permeates the adage (“Less is More”) i.e. doing less to achieve more. Academically, I have an Advanced Diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Systems, Diploma in Logistics, Materials Handling, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Inventory Management and a Business Management Certificate. I have also been certified in the following: ISO 9000 (T/s16949), Health & Safety (OSH ACT), Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving techniques, Six Sigma, Project Management and Presentation Skills. My skills are - Leadership, Communication, Teamwork, Customer Service, and Problem Solving to name a few. As a leader/coach - I believe in investing in a bottom-up approach empowering employees on the shop floor to take initiative and allow them to take responsibility for their initiatives.
