Dear Sir/Madam I am an Intern at Desi Industrial Psychologists. I completed my BA degree in Industrial Organisational Psychology and Sociology at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. I am a dedicated hard worker who is eager to learn. I am a fast learner who is goal orientated with good time management skills. My communication and listening skills are refined as well. Desi Industrial Psychologists is a business-consulting firm in Port Elizabeth. I report to the Managing Director, Mrs Babalwa Desi. The experience I gained to date is invaluable, under her mentorship and guidance. I am responsible for Industrial relations support and Human Resource administrative functions rendered to a variety of clients. The scope of function entails the following: Data capturing, administrative support and coordination on high profile HR and Organisation Development projects, marketing administrative support, screening of all incoming telephone calls, updating business legal compliance documentation (including annual renewal of professional memberships and business affiliations), keeping coherent and up to date filing system , updating company policies as well as processing of procurement registrations with new and potential clients. Other responsibilities that I have include managing all updates on the government’s Central Supplier Database (CSD), keeping a neat record of all business literature and coordinating a neat outlook of the office. I am a hardworking, passionate, strong-willed individual who is committed to contribute value. I believe that I have the ability to work unaided or in a team environment as required. I can take charge when needed and can also welcome being led. I strongly believe that I will not only become an asset of the company, my contribution will speak for itself, as had been the case where I am to date.
