I am a culinary arts graduate in professional cookery from HTA School of Culinary Arts. I also have a qualification in wedding management and a BA motion picture medium from AFDA.I have entry level experience working in the kitchen, mainly acquired during my student industry placement and part-time work throughout my academic year. My main interests are in the warm kitchen and pastry. I am competent in baking pastry items such as puddings, cakes and cupcakes. I am an ambitious, motivated and dynamic hard worker that is eager to learn more and bring my knowledge and skills to add value to your organisation. During my academic year I had the privilege of learning from talented chefs at Aurum restaurant in Sandton. I have also had the privilege of working for well known wedding planners such as Kali de Villiers who is who is the owner of the Wedding specialist, as well as Dr Tumelo Makamu- the wedding butterfly and many more within the events and catering industry. What excites me most about this industry is the inexhaustible variety of cuisines, the unlimited opportunities to continue learning and creating.
