Hi there, My name is Charlotte and I am a content writer, researcher, and tutor. I completed my English Honours degree in 2013 from UCT (with distinction) and then went on to do an M.A in Political Science in 2016. For the past three years I have been writing, researching, tutoring, and lecturing. I run my own freelance writing company and work on a number of content related projects, from press-releases and web-copy, to writing academic content. I also tutor High School and University level students in English, Drama, History, and Art Theory. In 2018 I wrote and lectured a Gender Studies course at the Council on International Educational Exchange and also ran a first year Gender Studies Tutorial Group. This year I have worked as a researcher and writer at the Refugee Rights Unit at UCT. My role included supporting the director with academic writing (referencing, editing, proofreading, and researching), doing various event write-ups, and contributing to an academic journal that marks 25 years of democracy. I am passionate about writing, research, and teaching and am excited to find new projects that could utilise these skills.
