I am driven, goal-orientated, determined, a team player and a fast learner. I come from humble beginnings, with a strong work ethic ingrained in me for as long as I can remember and this has allowed me to obtain bursaries from high school until the end of my Honours degree at university. It has always been my objective to further my knowledge and apply the theory gained from my studies into practical situations. I have always been competitive, playing three sports at a provincial level throughout my life. I have applied the valuable skills and lessons I have learnt from sport into every day work and life. It is also through sport, and this competitive nature, that I developed a passion for Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Sales. I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce (Intrapreneurial Management) Degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2016, before completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Marketing Management degree from the same institution in 2017. My most recent employment was as a Marketing Assistant for a company called Big Ambitions, who specialise in travel content and marketing strategies. Unfortunately, due to the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic on the company, myself and two other colleagues were retrenched. Prior to that, I had completed an 18-month Commercial Graduate Program at Colgate Palmolive (Pty) Ltd, which is aimed at exposing graduates to the three commercial departments (Marketing, Customer Development, Logistics) of the company through practical experience with projects. This had been my first corporate job. I had been fortunate enough to begin my working career in a highly esteemed company with well-recognised brands. I am open to new opportunities and always interested to elevate my career in every way possible. I believe that my qualifications, education, entry level and professional experience make me a strong candidate for a said job.
