I attended Crawford College La Lucia in Durban graduating in 2016. I achieved full academic colors during my matric year where I lived with my 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother. During my high school years I volunteered at an orphanage for abandoned babies helping with their personal care and emotional support. I attended Stellenbosch University graduating in 2020, achieving my Bachelors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. For my final year project I set out to design, build and program a 3-axis spherical actuator which is meant to replace reaction wheels on miniature satellites to control its orientation. I thoroughly enjoyed being faced with unique problems and taking the opportunity to find creative solutions to the problems. Throughout my school and university careers I maintained a strong work life balance and made sure to keep my physical health in order by attending gym daily and living a healthy lifestyle. I took up swimming for 10 years participating in gala and open water events such as the Midmar mile.
