To Whom It May Concern, I recently completed a degree in mechatronic engineering at Stellenbosch University. I believe the skills and knowledge attained in order to complete this degree has given me an excellent foundation for starting my career as a graduate engineer. Furthermore, I am an adaptable person that loves to work in teams, as relating to people is one of my strengths. I am hard-working, persistent and loyal. I am also resilient and follow through on tasks despite possible setbacks. As a mixture of a mechanical and electrical engineer, I am skilled in approaching problems holistically, analyzing how the different parts fit together, keeping both backgrounds in mind. I have an inborn sense of wonder and I love to learn, often taking on more responsibility than expected. The vocational work I completed as a degree requirement taught me a great deal about working in the industry. Even though I worked at the same company for both periods, I was exposed to different work environments and managing styles. The communication skills, both written and verbal, I acquired during this process has proven to be invaluable.
