I am currently working for Wesgro as a Compliance Officer where I am responsible for amongst my duties to Assist Accountant by making sure that audit files are signed and up to date,Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable legislation and internal requirements, Advice management, employees and clients on all compliance and regulatory matters that affect business decision, Assist in developing, promoting, implementing and maintaining compliance standards and procedures that enable employees to act in a compliant manner, Train and assist employees to improve their regulatory knowledge and enhance their compliant behaviors, Assist the Finance Controller in maintaining and updating the Audit Matrix, Pre and Post launch compliance audits, Preparation of compliance audit reports and recommendations and follow-up of recommendations, Internal compliance audits as prescribed by legislation and the company’s mandate, Administrative support to the Accountant, CFC and CFO and to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. I am currently doing my Post Grad Diploma in Forensic Auditing at the University of South Africa (Unisa). I graduated at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a Degree B-Tech: Internal Auditing, National Diploma: Internal Auditing and National Higher Certificate: Accountancy. I have also studied at College of Cape Town, where I obtained an N4 & N5 Certificates: Business Management and an N3 Certificate in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Stellenbosch. I have the following working experiences:  Baphumele NGO as an Admin Clerk  Shoprite Checkers – Trainee Manager  Department of Justice and Constitutional Development – Administration Clerk (Finance and Criminal Section)  Standard Bank (Quest) – Frontline Teller/ Consultant The nature of my studies has prepared me well for a position such as this one, as you can see my CV. I feel I am suitable for this role as I have great deal experience in Administration, Accounting, Governance and Auditing. I consider myself to be friendly, efficient, hard worker, enthusiastic, flexible and a person who likes working with people and independently as well, I have good communication skills, accounting skills and management skills. I am computer literate, I have knowledge of the Microsoft packages (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, SharePoint & Microsoft Outlook) I am an ambitious, optimistic, harmonious, and idealistic individual who believes that there is nothing that has been thought of that can be created .I enjoy being in an environment that allows me to express my talents and abilities while gaining more information and wisdom.
