Since completing my B. tech in Chemical Engineering I have been working as a process controller at Kalagadi Manganese mine and before that, I worked as a process controller at Rheinmetal Denel Munitions. This experience has been invaluable in putting into practice some of the educational theory I have learnt in my years of schooling. In particular, I have learnt how to apply process control principles and have gained experience in the use of such principles to effectively monitor and control process parameters in order to resolve process problems to yield a product of desired specifications. I have also been familiarized with the identification of relevant trends and their analysis in the monitoring and troubleshooting of the process.
