I have completed a BSc. Honours degree in Hydrology and Geohydrology at the North-West University, Potchefstroom campus. I hold a BSc environmental and biological sciences undergraduate degree, majoring in geology and geography. I have also obtained additional certificates in GIS through Esri web courses during the year 2019 and April 2020. Throughout my university career, I have gained knowledge in various components of geography, such as remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis and environmental management, just to name a few. University has aided me in obtaining a variety of technical skills such as, excellent communication skills, computer skills, scientific report writing and research. Some of the specialized skills that I have acquired include map compilation, data collection, data capture, data analysis, data management, working with different mapping projections and solving spatial problems using ArcGIS. I have worked with different mapping and geographic software such as ArcGIS, Global mapper and Surfer. Outside my geographic skills, I have also acquired skills in groundwater, hydrologic and mine flood modelling, mineral and rock identification, geological field mapping and soil classification.
