I am a self-driven individual who always seek solutions instead of focusing on the problem. Who does not conform to restrictions, because it limits the out-of-the-box personality that always strive(s) for the best alternative(s) results possible. As a student I was privileged to do my training at Tygerberg Hospital. This is where I was able to explore all the departments attached to/with the Public Service Industry. Now, I am well equipped and informed in these departments (OPD, Inpatient Department, Manufacturing, Clinics, Pediatrics and AMS Departments, and Bulk and Vacolitre Stores). Studying to be a Pharmacist Assistant has equipped me immensely. It has opened my eyes in so many ways. Whilst still busy with my training, I had an opportunity to work at MediPost Pharmacy last year for 5 months, as a Basic Pharmacist Assistant. Previously, I worked in a finance industry for 18 months and got exposed in different finance departments. Such as (Administration, Sales and Finance). And I have a lot to offer. At Marlin Credit Services, I was selected to take an in-house four-week sales training. It was presented and led by the amazing speaker and mentor Gavin Novis from Dynamic Seminars. This experience will be an added benefit in this Pharmaceutical route I have taken. I have learnt and still learning a lot in terms of understanding the business industry. Each industry and everything in life has a bottom line. And my experience has made me understand the concept. Honestly, the industry is a very tricky. But, an extremely interesting new chapter in my youth and I am enjoying every moment of it. I have an ADT IT Programme Certificate on ''End-User Computing and a First Aid Level Two Certificate (Including CPR & AED)''. I also furthered that by equipping myself in "Auto CAD, Outlook and Microsoft Project''. I have good Organizational Skills, quick learner, good written, oral communication and have an excellent computer knowledge. I am an all-rounder, general worker if you will. Basically, I am assisting in every aspects of the operations of the industry. Basically, I am absorbing and grasping everything about the Pharmaceutical industry and its Business side. The operating systems, use of their machines, equipment and tools. This is definitely a welcomed addition to my knowledge and experience. I, Athenkosi Malilwana. I am highly motivated, believing I hold the key to my future. I believe in giving excellence first time around with the grace to make a mistake. I have learnt to be patient in a demanding position and industry. I am a highly organized person. I have learnt to manage my time. Thus, lead a balance academic and social life. I would really appreciate if you would consider my application for the advertised position and I feel that, given the opportunity along with the guidance of my colleagues and mentors it would prove to be a benefit for my growth. And that will have a direct and good impact to your institution/organization and to the service we will be providing to the public. I am physically fit and ready to work. I am always professional, courteous and with a great eye for detail. Able to work well without supervision although I’m equally happy as part of a team. “My Resume and personal attributes speak for themselves”.
