My current field of expertise is within the Account Management and Client Relationship Management environment. I have been operating in this environment since 1999 and have accumulated a wealth of experience over the years. Over the years this environment has also evolved to include Business Development and Sales. I have been fortunate enough to deal with business initiative from the stage on conceptualisation right up to the implementation of the initiative. I have also been able to meet and exceed high value sales targets on a regular basis. The successes in this environment is due to the in depth technical background I have and also due to the experience I have as a manager in various technical environments. As manager of those environments I was responsible for not only the management of the resources but also for their development in line with their various chosen career paths. This gives me the ability to easily interact with both the business and technical team to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently. Although my career have been focused on the IT sector I feel that the skills I have accumulated can be very successfully transferred to any business sector where there are interactions with clients with regards to sales or service delivery. This can also be supported by the fact that the sales methodology I am trained in is currently being used across a wide sphere of different business sectors. During 360 degree, CPP, OPQ and EQ-i assessments I have been described as functioning at a Tactical Strategy level, having a balanced profile to problem solving, being decisive, results driven and meeting customer expectations. I therefore feel that I have the skills, ability and aptitude to contribute positively to any organisation and in any position.
