Marketing and Sales professional with 16 years experience across FMCG, Media and Content industries - including SA Breweries, SC Johnson, Econet Media and VIACOM Africa. Anna-Marie is passionate about Marketing and Sales strategy and brand growth. Anna-Marie’s qualifications include a BSc in Marketing and Information Systems from the University of the Witwatersrand, and she is currently reading towards a Masters in Business Administration at Henley Business School. She is known for injecting energy, fresh thinking and new ideas into the marketing and sales spheres, and has proved successful in acquiring and retaining new clients. Her mastery of content marketing and campaigns and sales spans television, sponsorships, digital and social media, publicity and customer experience. Her passion is for brand purpose and supporting businesses to live with purpose and make a positive impact in the world around them and devotes spare time to giving talks and lectures to improve strategic conversations. She was on the panel of judges for the Marketing Achievement Awards in June 2019 and presented the Purpose-Led campaign category award; and sat on the panel discussion about brand purpose at the awards summit. Her keynote lecture for the South African Strategy Association discussing strategy and competitive advantage by organization-wide living of brand purpose, gave a future-facing analysis of the potential for brand purpose to drive sustained competitive advantage. She also sat on the judging panel of the Hollard Sport Industry Awards in November 2019.
