Marketing is in your DNA, it’s in you or it’s not. Well it’s in me and I’m ready to make a difference. The marketing DNA enables you step out of the norm and see what will make that person’s life better or easier. We are all looking for that one thing that can fill the (inconvenience) gap, faster phone, quicker payment platform and easier access to EVERYTHING!!!...that is where the Marketing DNA comes in. The big question is HOW?? That is where I want to be, in the how? The tools to reach a consumer and make their lives better and convenient are endless now, so let’s use them to our advantage across all platforms. I have been on the ground where I was a sponsorship Manager but handing out T-shirts to kids and adults and their facial expression I will forever remember. I have been on the ground when I worked the Property Company called Citiq a portfolio of (R1.2 Billion) in JHB and the bulk was in JHB CBD. We created a new website, branding, events and this involved me going to every single building or estate. I believe being hands on and on the ground gains you knowledge that cannot be taught but experience.
