Andile Mthethwa has a considerably vast and extensive experience in internal auditing and accordingly he was requested by audit firms with the performance of external Quality Assurance Review (QAR) on the Internal Audit units of their clients. Prior to that, he was the Head of Internal Audit at Nongoma Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal and has more than 10 years extensive and relevant work experience in internal audit assignments and has provided related services to various clients including municipalities, government departments and state owned companies. Andile also conducted numerous forensic investigations on behalf of various clients. Andile was also exposed to auditing mining activities or processes such as technical and maintenance, production, accounts receivables and revenue management. Moreover, he has a considerable experience in consulting which includes amongst others; risk management, policies and procedures formulation, compliance management and performance audits.
