Working in the tourism industry afforded me the opportunity to develop excellent communication, marketing, and problem-solving skills. I am customer-driven, communicate well and have a problem-solving work ethic. Striving for excellent customer rating have always driven me in to offer the best service in the tourism industry for many years. I am experienced in people management and client relations. When directing travel groups, one has to build long-lasting relationships with service providers, manage challenges and crises that arise, including injuries, lost passports, unhappy travellers and cancelled flights. Conflict management was the most required skill when managing groups from varied backgrounds travelling together on a tour for a few weeks. I adored working with people and would describe myself as diplomatic, although being able to handle the most difficult clients. I was often contacted by tour operators to handle difficult clients and took pride in my work.
