I am a copy-editor based in Pretoria. My previous experience includes holding a managing editor position at a large multi-disciplinary engineering firm for approximately three years. I was responsible to edit bid proposals, engineering reports, corporate communication, marketing material as well as website content. I have good general knowledge, however, topics that I am particularly comfortable with include engineering (civil, aviation, electrical), veterinary science, retail, tech, and psychology. Over the past year I have completed editing projects for GIZ, the PIC, the AU, and the African Tax Administration Forum, and regularly do contract work for Cactus Global within the psychology and psychosocial healthcare department editing journal articles. I am also experienced in technical writing and I am able to take complex ideas and simplify them for the general public.
